Attention to detail is the key difference between a poor refinish and a true restoration. Whether it was Colt, Winchester, Parker or L. C. Smith, every manufacturer had their own unique methods and formulas. We have spent years studying benchmark firearms to accurately duplicate a variety of historical metal finishes. We are pleased to offer traditional bone charcoal color case hardening, charcoal bluing, rust bluing, nitre bluing, black oxide hot bluing, French gray and plating services.
Our woodwork services include custom stocking to your dimensions, stock bending, recoil pad installation, leather covered pads, checkering, hidden repairs and alterations. Our approach to woodwork is to hand fit and finish wood, just like the craftsmen before us did.
Whether it's a rifle, shotgun or pistol, we carefully perform our repairs and alterations by hand. This includes, but is not limited to, complete stripping and cleaning, parts fabrication, mechanical repairs to ejectors, single trigger adjustments, rib relaying, sleeving, choke boring, chamber and forcing cone modifications, springmaking, custom mounts, rifle rebarreling and muzzle brake installation.
We are happy to discuss your project over the phone or via email but we cannot provide an official quote until we have seen your firearm in person. When sending firearms to Will Bros. Restoration, please be sure to include your full name, delivery address, phone number and email address. If you have any questions regarding shipping please call us at 989-471-1075 or via email at sales@willbrosrestoration.com
